This week in NYC, our beautiful weather streak is coming to an end tomorrow with projected rain showers and thunderstorms that may last for a few days. Perhaps it will be best to stay indoors and enjoy Discovery Channel’s Shark Week.
When skies clear later in the week, enjoy a free movie on Thursday at 7:30PM on the Intrepid Museum’s flight deck. This week, they’re showing the captivating and family-friendly Captain Phillips.
To make the most of one of the last weekends of summer this year, spend some time outdoors. On Saturday, August 16th, Tap+Cork will be hosting their second annual Beer and Wine Festival from 2-8PM in Restoration Plaza in Brooklyn. Enjoy live music, beer, wine, and other outdoor activities.
